Parks for People

Fredrick Law Olmstead, the father of landscape architecture, well understood the immense value of parks when he designed Central Park in New York City. As more and more people are living closer together in denser cities, well-designed parks become increasingly important to the well-being of city dwellers.

The success of our clients’ parks is measured by how well they are used. This is why we help build community consensus early in the design process to establish a sense of community ownership. We design them to be safe, accessible, flexible, comfortable and attractive to meet the needs of a wide variety of urban citizens.
