Schoolyards for Kids and Community
School boards face escalating costs and a lower return on their investments. Construction and renovation budgets are stretched to the limit often resulting in less durable solutions and increased maintenance costs. With a full understanding of these challenges, we have helped the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) transform over 35 of their school yards since 2000. Using their award winning Transforming the School Yard programme we set 10 objectives for each yard and apply our facilitation, design and consensus-building skills to achieve those objectives.
